Package: flashplugin-nonfree Version: 9.0.21.78.3 If flashplugin-nonfree installation fails due to a 404 error while attempting to fetch the installer, it is seen by apt to have successfully installed (despite output to the contrary) - rather than the expected behavior of actually "failing". As such, flashplugin-nonfree is marked as being installed when it actually is not.
