Indeed, the system works fine and Iceweasel doesn't freeze without flash.
This is always the same problem since longtime with Iceweasel and
flash... when a solution will be found ? soon ? or do we have to use
another browser to avoid that problem ?

Package: alsa-base
Version: 1.0.19.dfsg-1
Severity: grave
Justification: renders package unusable
Since the last update of alsa-base (3-4 days ago) in sid, I can't listen
to musics because the sound doesn't work, this at each boot of the PC. I
need to do "alsaconf" as root so that the sound works.
I had this bug a few days ago, I was upgrading from etch to lenny.
I found a solution, you will find my solution on my blog[1].
But that problem caused stopping of the upgrade, during upgrade, a
problem like this one shouldn't stop the upgrade, aptitude/apt should
upgrade the rest of packages

Problem fixed since I use Iceweasel 3.0. Lags are disappeared.
Thanks to the Iceweasel developpers !
You can close the bug.

When I do "update-grub", it fails.
For example, in the past, I had this:

kernel /boot/vmlinuz-2.6.18-6-686 root=/dev/sd

Any suggestions ?
I hope that in the next versions of Icewasel, this problem will go missing.
