We did indeed intend to package this but gave up after failing to get even
the vanilla package up and running. It seems there are ongoing installation
issues on the project's mailing list and unfortunately the vendor's .deb is
unsuitable because it's basically a wrapper around easy_install. We also

The signing error was resolved by going to a shell and manually executing:
d-i preseed/early_command string wget -O /tmp/keyring.udeb

I tend to agree with Thijs on this one - I regularly use gzip for compression of things other than tar files and it was built (and functions) as a standalone compressor; Recommends is more appropriate here. - samj
