Hi Hideki,
Thank you for following this, and yes, the next released version (1.0.1-1) will
have a fix for this issue. I'm hoping to have the release ready this week.

Greetings,
We're including the package split of couchdb and couchdb-bin in 1.0.0-1, which
I hope to finish packaging this week. There's currently one blocker on the
upload that's related to the split that I'll be looking at tonight.
Hope to have more good news for you soo
Hi - Regardless of how critical this bug is or whether it blocks releases, I'll
include a version number for the dependency in 0.11.0-2. It's in the process of
being packaged this week.

Context is always helpful.
I'll post back to this tick
compacted recently or could have a lot of documents), scarce system
resources, etc.
If an automated process is exposed during upgrade, it will be optional and
include a note that one can use replication or dump/load after the upgrade.

note that 0.11.0-1, which has a fix for this vulnerability, should be
released to unstable this week. Upstream released 0.11.0 about two weeks ago.

so, which version)? Did you see weird output while
installing couchdb? Is there something unique about your environment?

Thank you for submitting. This issue is on our TODO list currently, but we're

8.0-1.
I hope to resolve the init issues in either 0.10.1-2 or the next upstream
release, whichever comes first. However, as there is currently a stable band
aid in place, issues that come up that are still getting blood on the screen
(to carry the metaphor) will be given priority.
