Hello everyone,
I think that the ‘freedesktop-sound-theme’ package should be a
recommendation or at least a suggestion of this package because without
that package the ‘Sound Theme’ cannot be enabled or changed in
‘gnome-volume-control’.

The Java Script option "window.print()" does reset the paper format
to "US Letter". If you print a page manually (that means clicking on
"File > Print" or pressing [Ctrl]+[P]) Iceweasel does not change the
paper format.

in Debian unstable do not print any headers and footers (title, URL, page
numbers and date) although the options to print them are set (AFAIK only
possible in E
Unfortunately it seems that the described workaround with EXANoComposite
did not help because I had some X server crashes again over the last
few days. I will try the other workaround with AccelMethod now and if
this does not work too, I will have to look for a more stable
distribution like e.g. Ce
See bug #573997 [1] which describes the new printing problem that
affects all Webkit browsers in unstable.

Could you please forward this bug to the package ‘libwebkit-1.0-2’ (or
to another Webkit package if you know/suppose that the bug cannot be in
‘libwebkit-1.0-2’). The bug is still present in unstable in all browsers
that uses Webkit. It would be great if this problem could be solved

As I have assumed, the Latin Modern fonts are the default fonts for
Xetex documents – as important as the Computer Modern fonts for Latex
documents. See the documentation of Xetex: “fontspec defines a new LATEX
font encoding for its purposes to allow the Latin Modern fonts to be
used by default.” H

dependency of 'texlive-xetex' because if the package is not installed,

Epiphany (‘epiphany-browser’) has just been updated (from version 2.29.92-1 to
2.30.0-1) but the bugs are still not fixed (probably because it is a Webkit
problem). Could it be possible that the package ‘libwebkit-1.0-2’ is affected?
(It is the only package that all of the three Webkit browsers
To be honest I don’t have the time (nor the required knowledge I guess) to find
out the cause of this bug. If you give me instructions what I shall do, I would
like to help you. Otherwise I don’t mind because I now use the Linux Libertine
typeface (with Xelatex) and this just works.

It seems that I have the same problem. After upgrading to Lenny, my X server
often crashes, then it seems that it wants to restart it, but without success,
and finally I get an error message. I attached the Xorg.0.log to this mail. I
am not sure if I have the same problem than Luca but the log f
I forget to write that I do resp. did not have any problems with the X server
in Etch and Sid (with the same computer of course).

It does not really crash, Evince just does not respond anymore while
trying to print the concerning PDF file and uses 100

While printing a PDF document created by "pdftex" that consists of only
one single sentence, I just noticed 1. that Evince does not recognize
the name of the typeface used in the document (it is the standard

I have exactly the same problem: All dates from today (18 October 2009,
not 19 October 2009!!!) to Saturday in a week (25 October 2009, not 26
October 2009!!!) were alerted one hour too late. In addition this bug

I just wanted to add this bug – I have exactly the same problem.
Thank you, now it works! So the gsynaptics package should be updated because
the README file included in the gsynaptics package of the stable branch is
wrong and doesn’t help.
