Hey there, Corey.
Some of this text has changed in the SVN release, but I've incorporated
the changes that still make sense into r552.
Kari, Corey's patch should be valid directly against 0.27; feel free to
incorporate it into a revbump.

Josh,
Thanks for the bug report.
I just fixed this in Subversion, revision 484.

This bug should be fixed in r480 in SVN.

As Kari stated, the Acknowledge TrueType font has been released into the
public domain by the author. The eMail exchange is part of
README.Debian. Feel free to contact the author separately about this if
you feel a need to get separate confirmation; he's a nice fellow.
As for using fontconfig .
Hey there, Michael.
I'd like to respond to your comments one at a time; while
I agree that the end-game is imbalanced, it is most certainly
winnable, although the way to do that may not be immediately
obvious.

This is fixed in our Subversion repository, but a stopgap patch
for the Debian release is attached.
Rafal, could you try this patch and verify that it keeps you from having
to pass -nosound? Use patch -p1 from inside the E:S directory.

As stated before in this bug, this is fixed upstream. However,
I took the time today to make a patch that applies against 0.26a
(and should apply cleanly to Debian's patched version, as no
current patches modify events_en_US.txt). Attached is that patch.
It also shortens another too-long event d
Oops. That happened during my reorganisation of the music
playing code, as part of the fix for the 'crashes on
startup' bit. It's fixed upstream in r457, and I consider
this patch solid to apply directly in Debian to fix the issue.
Thanks, Brian.

This has been fixed upstream in r410; it is related to only semi-finished
code currently in the project that got pulled in with the r409 changes.
The next Debian release will use a modified patch that doesn't have the
semi-finished code, and should not have this problem.

This bug is fixed in r452 upstream and will be in the next official
release. (It should /not/ be pulled into the current Debian release
of the code, as the data files have undergone a massive format change
since then, and the diff will not apply cleanly. That said, a by-hand
matching change could

This is not a bug.
What's happening is that you don't have enough money to buy all N systems
at a particular location all at once. So, as the systems get built, you
continually get notifications that more of them are complete. You /did/
ask for all of the ones that are being built; you just usua
This bug has been fixed upstream in r407. As a temporary

a user who has access (probably root; the directory it wants
is at the same level as data/, code/ and the like in the
install location) or b) install singularity-music, which goes

I fixed this upstream; it will be in the next release.
For Debian developers, the (obvious) patch is r396.

I was curious as to the status of this issue on Debian's side. Is there
any further work that needs to be done from our end to get this issue
resolved? If so, let me know. We've cut a v0.26a point release to fix
a problem with Very Easy mode in the game; other than that, though,
things should be

Hey, folks.
Just to let you know: the upcoming release of E:S 0.26 has its media
relicensed under CC BY-SA 3 (although I hadn't seen this bug before I
pushed for it), so the game will be able to get moved out of non-free
once we cut a release ... which will be in the next few days.
