I'm trying to print a leaflet with oodraw on an epson stylus color 3000.
It prints 3 blank pages before the leaflet itself prints. This is
especially unnerving when manually feeding special paper.

Now it works again.
The only thing I remember which might have caused this improvement is a
restart of X.
So this means that there is something which, when it happens, renders
kate incapable of opening UTF-8 files correctly.
Maybe more details will make themselves known in the future.
