spi-tcp-ipv6 package?
Yeah, `ucspi-tcp-ipv6` on a recent debian works as it should.
(I have since moved on to a different solution, but at least wanted to
confirm)

I'm sorry to report that I moved to ubuntu,
but the problem wasn't fixed upstream and it is present in the package
version 2.16.1-0ubuntu1, present in Edgy Etch.
