It seems that when libgadu was changed to have it's own package (from
ekg) it started using proper version numbers (see #310276) - As before,
it had been using a date as a version number, it had worked, however,
this split caused the new package to be built with the correct version

Suffice to say - I've enjoyed working on Xdebug with you both, and hope
to continue that into the future :D (Well, My name's on the package now
and I don't intend to orphan it *just* yet!)

Second of all, there seems to be a couple of weird things in there - for

./configure --enable-xdebug --with-php-config=/usr/bin/php-config$*
