Right, indeed. How about making runit-sysv and runit-systemd call
runsvdir directly instead of calling /etc/runit/2?

I've been experiencing the same behaviour with the
extensions.gnome.org site for the past few weeks. Looking through my
.xsession.error log I found similar JS ERROR lines, except that the
"stack" line had an error about unzip.
Installing unzip fixed the problem for me (can't remember why
I am interested in maintaining this package, as well as packaging apache
solr 3 (now built from the same upstream source package.) I have done some
initial work on this but I do not yet have a working candidate package.
I am not a DM yet, so I would need the cooperation of a sponsor.
The attached patch should fix the FTBFS when building against
libopenssl-1.0.0.

I had this bug for some months but a kernel upgrade seems to fix this.
The problem only happened to me after aptitude invoked dpkg for
(re,un)installing packages. I use it over a ssh session in a headless
server.
Recently I changed my kernel from Knoppix's 2.6.19 (*) to a custom 2.6.22.6from
kerne
e.
To summarize: .temp is kept intentionally.
