Hi,
I changed the name of the upstream project (and the Debian package, of
course) to “thinkpad-scripts”.
So the new URL on mentors is:
http://mentors.debian.net/package/thinkpad-scripts
Since the last upload, there has been some upstream development, so we
are at 3.5.1 now:
dget -x

The problem is that I do not know a lawyer that I could just ask. And I
am German, another dev is American, so I have no idea whether to ask a
German or an American lawyer.
We already have the name in the description.
Okay, “thinklight” does not count, then.
The question is, whether using “thinkpad-” would cause any trouble with
trademarks?
I think “thinkpad-utils” or “thinkpad-tools” or “thinkpad-scripts” is an
improvement. Would those be okay with you?
The problem is that it started as a single rotation scr
I talked about this with another developer:
https://github.com/martin-ueding/think-rotate/issues/26
It looks like there is no `thinkpad-` package in Ubuntu or Debian, but
several with `think` in them. Does it really make sense to rename this
to `thinkpad`, when there are other packages like
`thinkpad-rotate` makes more sense, indeed. However, it is probably not
a good idea to have the Debian package and upstream project with
slightly different names. So changing the upstream name is probably
something that I should consider as well.
I was thinking about `lenovo-rotate` as well, or `*

A couple scripts that make the life with a ThinkPad X220 Tablet easier.
Including one for rotation, docking station and toggling the trackpad.

It is licensed GPLv2 or later.
Dear Lucas,
I think the problem is that `php5-json` was not in the dependencies. In
1.7.7-2, that is added, and I uploaded it to mentors.
http://mentors.debian.net/package/jscribble
The respective dsc file can be found at:
http://mentors.debian.net/debian/pool/main/j/jscribble/jscribble_1.7.7-2.
The problem is that the error logging facility will display a little
dialog box. So when an exception occurs while testing in headless mode,
it crashes.
That exception is now caught, I will release and package the new version
shortly.

Dear Mr. Tomayko,
when are you going to release the new version of rdiscount which is
compatible with discount 2.x?

would have to be fixed in Debian since we use our own packaging system.

I checked both man pages and they are identical. From your email, I
gather that it would be best to remove the man page from the
ruby-rdiscount package. The "markdown.7" is now removed from the
debian/rdiscount.manpages file in the git repo.
