inspecting the code that emits the error "s_connect() failed: Permission
denied", it looks like a perfectly reasonable error message. It could
probably be more specific in which exact syscall failed, but "permission
denied" when trying to connect to authdaemond clea

fine on stretch as well (where sfcgal is available even for those mipsen).
