all of the daemons from src:courier-mta cannot be stopped via their sysv init scripts due to $PIDFILE not being set properly. Looking at the git history, this seems broken since the addition of support for non-standard pid file locations (see #822067 as well) and the change to use init-d-script. For the same reason, status doesn't work, either. Installations using systemd are not affected, obviously. Kind Regards Markus Wanner
