Trying to edit a form in LO Base in Debian produces a writer document which:
- lacks form toolbars, which cannot be switched on from the menus
- does not allow access to control properties dialogs
This applies to both new form from t
I had the same problem with the 2.6.30 kernel. It seems to me that this kernel
has a problem recognising UUID designations: booting into the previous 2.6.29
worked fine. I then edited the linux command line from within the grub shell
at boot time, replacing root=UUID= to a straightforwar

Depends on linux-kbuild-2.6.28 which is still not available a week after
the 2.6.28 kernel images. As a result the new kernel remains unusable
for me as it is not possible (easy ?) to rebuild kernel modules for it.

Exactly the same is happening to me with xserver-xorg-video-intel 2:2.2.0-1
from unstable. There is no video after switching to a virtual console but
typing blind I can login etc, and switch back to X with alt-F7 etc

On the latest upgrade - to 3.5.8 - kxkb seems to have been broken and
misinterprets extended key scan codes: the normal keys work but the
cursor etc keys to the right do not. For example, the up key is
interpreted as printscreen (which

My system is a pretty standard desktop and has the same problem of
hanging at bootup after upgrading to the latest version of keytouch. (It
also breaks X startup as reported in #433589). So it's a problem with
the package and not your
For what its worth, removing and reinstalling the package had no effect, but
after purging first and then installing it magically started working
properly.
Perhaps a config file problems?

My problem seems to be related to bugs #373899, 215468 and 347522 in
particular, but since these have been closed and I am using the latest
cupsys 1.2.2, I am reporting a new bug.
I have been unsuccessfully trying to print to my Brother laser

I can confirm the problem and cure - commenting out one of the Port 631

Firstly I can confirm the problem with udev and coldplug scripts failing
to set permissions correctly; unplugging and then replugging works - bug
#339669. However, even with permissions apparently set correctly,
