2. You have the result proofread according to the Debian Developer's

After updating my whole system and a reboot, the problem is solved.
Funny fact is that Awesome itself was not updated. It might have been an
X issue.

Installing the "python3-debian" package and it dependencies solve that
error. So I suppose the debtags package should depend on (at least)
python3-apt and python3-debian too (or maybe python3-apt should depend
on python3-debian, but the packagers probably know how to solve this the
rig
I did not realize that there were two separate packaging
attempts. I was aware of this one and thought that you were too. Sorry
