Let's say I cancelled a dist-upgrade before the downloading had finished.
When I go to try it again from the shell I am told how much download remains.
"Need to get 65.2MB/90.9MB of archives."
If I try the same thing from the GUI mode I am t

This bug is with the ksysguard kicker applet.
The problem is with the text "top bar" not being shown.
Steps to reproduce:
1) Add sysguard applet to kicker panel.
2) Note that the 2 default "displays", CPU and Mem, have a text top bar

I beleive it should be a dependency for this task.
Have a look at the high position of amarok in popcon, this apps is used
by many users.

The fact that this is a FAQ for tasksel should tell us something.

I can confirm that 1.2.2-17 doesn't beep on my system. downgrading to 1.2.2-15
fixes things so it looks like a regression.
printf '\a' works on my system.
With 1.2.2-17, beep -e /dev/tty0 also works.

I to am having this problem.
I get the warning popup in the bottom right corner, and hitting "hide"
or "hide all" does nothing.
