Hello Ilkka, thanks for your comments.
I apologize for my late reaction.
I understand that the current suggested authenticated scheme
is rather oriented to passwords than to SSH key passphrases.
But you expect the latter. So in the coming package version 2.3+ds-4
three schemes will be available.
/pam.d/sshd
is actually distributed along the package `openssh-server` (you can check this
wit apt-file(1)).
For a working (but hopefully temporary) workaround you can have a look to the
aforementionned

Dear Maintainer,
I have just packaged the last version 4.7.1 of gap-io.
Its build machinery has changed. It now uses a Gap makefile Makefile.gappkg .
This makefile implicitly assumes (?=) that the gap and gac are into GAPPATH

Dear Dennis, thanks for your reply.
I was rather wondering if setting Rules-Requires-Root to yes in d/rules
will ask to bbuild to act as "needs-root" for autopkgtest.

Will set Rules-Requires-Root to yes in d/rules solve the issue ?
Jerome
Dear Paul Gevers,
please consider to tag #982719 as bullseye-ignore
given that the issue is not a package issue but
it seems rather related to an chroot issue.
Best regards,

Dear Dennis, thanks for your message.
I think that the issue is actally not a firehol issue.
But I cannot figure out to where the issue can be redirected.
For now, I am reluctant to neutralize the tests.
@Lucas: do you have any hint ?
Thanks,
Jeromr

Hi Dennis, thanks for confirming.
May I simply neutralize the involved test temporarily ?

Dear Lucas, thanks for your report.
I can not reproduce the issue on a Sid schroot a the time of writing.
Please, can you confirm the issue on your side ?
Best wishes, Jerome

I am currently isolating the faulty code on the porter Eller.
The issue seems to appear after the call to arpack functions,

If you find the video too heavy, you can replace it with a shorter version of
it.
The Makefile files are simple and illustrative. Personally, I not a huge fan of
