I'm happy to try to troubleshoot if someone can give me some pointers on how
to do it. But it doesn't show up as frequently on my laptop, and killing and
restarting xscreensaver will generally solve the problem, so I'm not going to

kiness, and as an added bonus
my xscreensaver problems have gone away as well. I couldn't say why
network problems would cause xscreensaver issues... Something about how
xscreensaver-command talks to xscreensaver?
Anyway, my problem's taken care of.

xmoto is at fault, but I don't know what else it might be. I haven't played
xmoto in the past couple of weeks, but when I went to pl

message. In fact, on my system it's typically some substring of a font
specification, though it's sometimes part of the previous message.
Presumably some careless checking of string boundaries or something.

I'm using emacs-snapshot, and LANG=en_US.UTF-8. When I save a folded
file (using folding.el) newlines in folded sections are replaced with ^M
-- e.g., an entirely folded file would be saved as a file with a single
line with ^M where newl

aren't escaped. I'm not enough of an elisp hacker to know what's wrong,
but '\', at least, is in the muse-latex-markup-specials table, and
putting '&' in as well doesn't cause

issue is unique to me.
