When starting up xmms2, and the default socket already exists, it fails to
startup.
It goes like this:
$ xmms2-launcher
startup failed!
The log goes like this:

When I try to transfer a file to the SD card, I get a message telling me
that there is not enough space, which is, of course, absurd. The
transcript follows:
$ pilot-xfer -i pilot-0.12.3_patches.tar.gz -D /etc
