Hello, just to add my experience with this bug.
On my computer I am running Squeeze (no Sid packages) and as this time I am one
version below the
new Sid package. I run gnome-panel 2.30.2-1 and Sid is on 2.30.2-2. But I

Hi,
I was experimenting the same problem with OAuth (qwit 1.0+svn346-1, running
squeeze) , and it was solved by just installing libqca2-plugin-ossl
(0.1~20070904-4). This approach was also able to solve what looks like an
identical problem with OAuth in choqok, see bug #593537 [1].

Hi,
According to the release tags, bug 418972 is considered to be release-critical
for both lenny (S) and squeeze (T). However, it seems that it only affected
etch (O). Shouldn't the release tags be changed accordingly?
Thanks.

Hi,
FYI, yesterday I uploaded a new package to the DELAYED-7 queue. I've
tried to contact the maintainer but haven't gotten any reply, so as I
think this bug is quite important, I uploaded to DELAYED-7 after waiting
for a couple of days.

I imagine applying these fixes would be better than upgrading to an
unreleased version. If you need any help testing them, I'd like to see
this fixed so I'm willing to help.

I don't think I've ever found a way to lower that limit. Actually,
looking at index++'s source code, it seems that the limit is hardcoded in
config.h. If you know or find a way to lower the limit, tell me and I'll
change it. It's something that
m, and it seems they were applied in the next package revision (0.53-3)
anyway (which I assume has the same problem?).

Are you sure you haven't fiddled with /usr/share/python/debian_defaults or that
you didn't abort the package configuration or something?
What are the contents of your directory
/usr/lib/pymodules/python2.5/simplejson/ ? You should have a ordered_dict.py
symlink in there.
