The debian patch is broken in that _GLIBCXX_TIME_BITS64_ABI_TAG is redefined to
an empty string which does nothing other than generate a warning. The warning
breaks hundreds of tests and makes it impossible to assess build quality.

Hi there Mike,
Thanks for this patch.
I have built it on my devbox and it compiles fine. I’ve not tested it as I
don’t have the means to at the moment!
I shall look at committing this properly when I’m reunited with my yubikey
unless someone else wants to do it first
