Liquidsoap is searching at the wrong place for pervasives script
libraries
The Debian package puts them into:
/usr/share/liquidsoap/libs
Liquidsoap is expecting them at:
/usr/share/liquidsoap/1.4.1/libs
Here is a short script to replicate it:

Please upgrade liquidsoap to the newest upstream version 1.2.1.

I can confirm that this bug is fixed in the debian package for unstable
(4.48.0) but the current package for jessie is somehow still affected.
I looked at the jessie package and I didn't saw the new MAXLINE part in
the file _retrieverbases.py

Today I installed twoftpd on a fresh Debian 7 stable installation
(64bit, 2 CPUs, inside VirtualBox 4.3.18 using VirtIO for networking).
It was not working so I was searching around and found the bug report
and discussion about the memory limit. In Debian 7 th
the reported bugs are older than a year and it seems to me that these
errors also occour in debian stable.
the solution to this two bugs is posted and nothing happend. so, in my
opinion, i would suggest these packet to be opend for adoption.

small update to the stuff I wrote yesterday:
some simple java test programm using the RXTX library are working when
I install the library manualy (as descriped in my last post).
but the application I was interested in was crashing everytime at the
same position.

myself out of the package sources it works.
