My thoughts are
1) I'd like to see a migration path off of vlan/vconfig sooner rather
than later. The ip-vlan script provides that now. Because

I was reviewing the /etc/network/*.d/vlan scripts to write an
ip-vlan script to allow the same thing to be done entirely with
'ip' and I found a few anomalies
1) Doesn't handle arbitrarily named raw devices.
2) Doesn't catch the typo of pad
whole lighttpd package just isn't needed.

Unlike phpmyadmin, phppgadmin currently requires an httpd to be installed.
As my intent is to keep httpd far away from web app and db servers,
allowing phppgadmin to be installed with just php5-cgi would make
my life a bit simpler.
