The full build log is attached.
The build succeeds with netcdf (1:4.1.3-7.2),
but fails with netcdf (1:4.4.0~rc2-1~exp2).
This issue needs to be resolved to not hinder the upcoming netcdf
transition.

a look at the latest
(4.0.7) NCO and patch it so it everything works with Pbuilder/Debian.
It would be really nice to take advantage of netCDF4 and DAP by default.
Will upload 4.0.7-1 later tonight.
Thanks,
Charlie

Hi Daniel,
I didn't understand what this "tags" message meant.
Is everything OK with the NCO package?
Do we need to do anything to upload it to unstable?
Thanks,
Charlie

and we will beta-test
that your build works by trying to build NCO packages off it.
P.S. The Unidata udunits package has a similar structure to netcdf
and I encourage you to try packaging if you have success with netcdf.
Thanks,
Charlie
