recent exception of bug 695911) been updated in some time. The following

FYI, as of this morning I've now had 2 successful updates through apper
without any downgrade warnings, while using the packages with the proposed
fixes. I've also seen the issue (at least, the downgrade warnings) occur on
another laptop running 64-bit wheezy.
