It only happens when the user has setted 'es', 'de' or 'ru' locales to be
used.
To reproduce:
1) Edit /etc/locale.gen and uncomment one of those locale (i.e.
'es_ES.UTF-8 UTF-8').
2) Run 'locale-gen' to generate the locate.
3) Run 'LANG=es_ES.UTF8 mednaffe'

As you are using spanish localization, most probably it is the same issue
that one reported in github:

It is fixed in versions >= 0.8.5 of mednaffe.
