I've already asked about this bug on the xorg list but got no response.
So this might actually be a Debin bug.
Recently the output of any GL application (glxgears, googleearth,
nexuiz) is completely corrupted.
The whole win
I've tested with the upstream version 2.0.0.4 of firefox, and it worked
as expected. So it seems, this bug is Debian specific.
I can provide any information needed, as soon as I know what that would
be.
