I might have an idea of what could have happened: how does the packager
know that the file is different from the previous package's default version?
While I upgraded other packages on another server today I noticed something
in my own behaviour: when there are modifications on a package file and I

Dear Maintainer,

Hi,
I would like to sponsor your package if you consider maintaining it
under the Debian Python Team. I saw that you have already requested to
join the DPT. Until you get access to the DPT on Salsa, I can create a
repository for python-autodocsumm in DPT and provide you access.
Cheers!

Hey,
I think you should B-D on libtidy-dev and dynamically resolve the real package
name and replace it at the build time using the dpkg-shlibs. This should not
be that hard.
