I used a remote ssh session to attach the Xorg process in gdb.
Judging by entry #1 of the stack trace, it might be a stack corruption.

This failure is because nlopt has an override to try to install the
python3.10 extension, but it installs it to the wrong path.
Considering that Boyuan Yang has made several changes to several files and
request use in Public-Domain, and that Patrick said he accepts an upstream
compatible license, I'm going to use Public-Domain rather than MIT.

be an alias for --server, but the recent rewrite of the address logic
apparently made it an alias of --adress instead.

On my system pw-jack does not work at all. It sets LD_LIBRARY_PATH
incorrectly:
