unar is the command interface for The Unarchiver
(http://wakaba.c3.cx/s/apps/unarchiver.html) and supports extracting .rar

This week ejabberd 14.05 was released which adds new features and a new
dependency:

The current erlang version in testing + unstable is too new for 13.12,
