Hi, I was seeing the same issue on wheezy systems (x86 32 and 64 bit). proftpd process segfaults on SIGHUP. After tracing this a bit the segfault happens when processing restart events of the quotatab module. Thus disabling quota modules in the config makes reload/SIGHUP work again for me. HTH,
