I have experienced a problem with proftpd recently, and had originally
thought it was my own configuration problem, but I couldn't locate
anything wrong with it. (using proftpd-mysql)
In my case, even the first user may set off the stream of segfaults,
causing the CPU usage to hit 100%, and

I have reproduced the fixes the user suggested on a diff file, so
they're easier to apply. As I don't speak French, though, I couldn't
check them, so probably the patch could use some revision by a language
team.
