Hi
I just talked to Marco and understood why this is done, but I am still
curious as to how to access the interface, what would be the correct way to

Hi
I currently see a huge issue with the naming of the Calligra DBus
issue in place currently, it seems that it uses the pid of Calligra
appended to the dbus interface.Due to this one cannot have a standard
dbus call to calligra and will have to write extra code to figure out
what the current PID o
Hey
Actually there *is* a way to paint the presentation, calligra provides
a method called exportPageThumbnail, it only appears when you start
the presentation ( which is quite undestandable ) and this should help
you paint some previews of the slides.

Hi
You already seem far along
You more or less just need to pick a topic that interests you, and then ask
how to do that and some people will probably answer.

Hi All
Im quite interested in contributing development to calligra. Some pointers in
the right direction will be appreciated. I already know C++ and Ive written a
few small apps in Qt. And I successfully got calligra compiled and running
from source. So now I need to know how to get involved.

Oh!, really thanks todd for making it clear to me.
I read the idea
http://community.kde.org/GSoC/2011/Ideas#Project:_Plasma-based_Presentation_View
once again and realised that what you said is true.
I think what Aaron suggested (using kpart) is good and implementing it
will be not much difficult.
