Fellow Archers,

Over the past months we have been discussing the potential addition of an

Hi Guys,
So, mkinitcpio-30 (on [testing]), uses zstd by default for initramfs images,
since all
our kernels now support it. I plan to move mkinitcpio in the next 24-48 hours

Hi All,
I'm revisiting this thread to clarify the current situation Arch is in,
regarding the initramfs.
When this was suggested, mkinitcpio was without a maintainer, and dracut
was the obvious choice for replacement.
In the almost two years this has been proposed though, I have maintained

Hi,
GCC 11 and a new toolchain rebuild has lended on [testing]. So,
until it's moved, if you build anything that uses gcc against testing,
it'll have to wait and be moved together.
Also, if you guys notice any issues, let me know.
