Hi,
GCC 11 and a new toolchain rebuild has lended on [testing]. So,
until it's moved, if you build anything that uses gcc against testing,
it'll have to wait and be moved together.

I don't mind the occasional broken package on [testing] get pulled out.
I mean, we must do our best to not intentionally break it, but we can't
make sure everything is working, hence we have testing.
Just that, on this case, an email would've been

allowing
them all to be installed at the same time.
Having said all that, there are no plans at this time to change the status quo,
so
mkinitcpio remains the default, but users now have 3 options, which is always
good.

All official kernels of Arch Linux now support zstd compressed initramfs
images, so mkinitcpio is switching to zstd compressed images by default on
the version that is
ernel version prior to 5.9, make sure to
change mkinitcpio.conf
COMPRESSION to use one of the compressors supported, like gzip, otherwise you
*will not* be able to
boot images generated by mkinitcpio.

After reading this thread [0], I think that, if we keep using their keys, or
even
start using the chrome keys, this might put Arch into muddy

functionality.
I would probably adopt it, since I rely heavily on chromium and, never used
the sync functionality (nor care about it). I bet others would too.
