[Bug 160310] Re: cups-pdf margins extend to the edge of the page
This is an old bug report, but I also ran into this issue. The cups-pdf package allows CUPS to directly have a pdf printer. When I installed it, it provides a ppd file (/etc/cups/ppd) with the margins settings all the way to the edge of the paper with the code *ImageableArea Letter/US Letter: "0 0 612 792" I looked at my laser printer and it had *ImageableArea Letter/US Letter: "18 12 594 780" so then I just changed the cups-pdf ppd file to that, and the new print outs are within the margins. -- cups-pdf margins extend to the edge of the page https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/160310 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
[Bug 135178] Re: [gutsy] gtkpod-aac does not live up to its name
I was able to successfully compile gtkpod from SVN on Fesity and Gusty by installing libmp4v2-dev from the Debian repositories, which depended on libmp4v2, libmpeg4ip, and libmpeg4ip-dev. -- [gutsy] gtkpod-aac does not live up to its name https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/135178 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is the bug contact for Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
[Bug 111257] Re: totem crashes with 'BadAlloc (insufficient resources for operation)' when using compiz and xserver-xorg-video-intel driver
I have the same issue with using the xserver-xorg-video-intel driver in Ubuntu 7.04. Last night I changed drivers and just noticed this issue on my laptop. I have changed back to the xserver-xorg-vide-i810 along and using 915resolution to get 1280x800 on my screen, which is a work around. The reason I tried changing to this driver is because using i810 only gave me two choices for changing resolution in Gnome. -- totem crashes with 'BadAlloc (insufficient resources for operation)' when using compiz and xserver-xorg-video-intel driver https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/111257 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is the bug contact for Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

[Bug 83950] Re: feisty openoffice crash
Thank you for the help The command lpadmin -p (printer name) -E -v (DeviceURL) -P /usr/share/cups/model/(PPD file name) fixed the crashing issue on my Brother HL-2040. -- feisty openoffice crash https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/83950 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is the bug contact for Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
