This is an old bug report, but I also ran into this issue. The cups-pdf package allows CUPS to directly have a pdf printer. When I installed it, it provides a ppd file (/etc/cups/ppd) with the margins settings all the way to the edge of the paper with the code
*ImageableArea Letter/US Letter: "0 0 612 792" I looked at my laser printer and it had *ImageableArea Letter/US Letter: "18 12 594 780" so then I just changed the cups-pdf ppd file to that, and the new print outs are within the margins. -- cups-pdf margins extend to the edge of the page https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/160310 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
