[Bug 18715] Re: Font sizes of KDE apps wrong when used in GNOME
Where can I specifiy this dpi setting for KDE? The exact same behavior is now happening in Ubuntu 8.10. When I start a KDE-application (soffice, gwenview, kontact, korganzers, what so ever), the applications fonts are too big. When I open System->Appearance and close it (even without any changes made), and then start the KDE application, it starts with the right font size. [Bug 887720] [NEW] Unity crashes when a large USB disk is connected
Public bug reported: I've installed the latest version of Ubuntu 11.10 on two computers. When I connect my Western Digital 4 Tbyte disk(s) it can work with them. However, if I log out and log in again, or if I reboot the system with the disk connected, Unity will be in an unusable state: the panel area on top of the screen changes its color, most of the icons in this panel are gone. It looks as if Unity would halt somewhere building its screen. When I start an applications, the fonts are primitive. Many applications do not start, or behave strangely. It is unusable. The situation can only be resolved by disconnecting the disk, and rebooting. ** Affects: ubuntu Importance: Undecided Status: New -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/887720 Title: Unity crashes when a large USB disk is connected To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+bug/887720/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
