[Bug 55968] Installer crashed
Public bug reported:
i installed ubuntu for the first time this morning, however after
running it from the hdd twice, it wouldnt boot up anymore and stopped
with the error
sh/bin: Can't access tty; Job control turned off
tried to boot a few more times without any success.
so i eventually decided to boot from the cd again - which worked - and
re-install, which caused this error:

- brandnew intel d805
- asrock 775dual board (raid off)
- 2gb ram
- ubuntu is running on primary master (ide) 80gb FAT hdd
- win xp home on 3rd master (sata)
would love to get this running!

It is a pity that this problem is still present in jaunty (8.10)... Hi developers, any hope fixing this trivial problem in the forth coming 9.04? This bug has already reported more than 13 months.
