[Bug 351635] Re: evolution crashed with SIGSEGV in g_type_check_instance_cast()
Evolution MAPI is really buggy for me. I haven't got a apport crash report to popup but whenever I click on a Calendar Event in my Inbox Evolution crashes. It also will be unable to connect to the MAPI server after using it for maybe 3 minutes. I have to kill all the processes in order to run it again. It also give me an error whenever I try to send a message saying that it couldn't send the message although it "really" did. -- evolution crashed with SIGSEGV in g_type_check_instance_cast() https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/351635 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
[Bug 351635] Re: evolution crashed with SIGSEGV in g_type_check_instance_cast()
I'm not sure what specific part of Evolution the bug is being caused by (I've never gotten an Apport error report for any of them) but I am using Evolution to connect with Exchange... I just haven't known where to report these issues but wanted to let someone know. Disabling brought the resolution up for the bootscreen. I have to agree w/ what's being said, it unfortunate that the proprietary drivers look a like a joke in the splash when it seems like they could be harnessed for more, better resolution, 3d something. But I have no knowledge of how the programming works for ubuntu, which I understand there are roadblocks to that goal. [Bug 420578] Re: Karmic: PCM volume (as seen in alsamixer) "stuck" at 100% with pulseaudio enabled
I confirm as well that this is happening on my Dell XPS M1710 laptop. The PCM volume is always at high level as seen in alsamixer. The master will adjust using the volume applet, but not the PCM. Adjust of the master also does something really odd. It doesn't change the volume but rather moves the sound from "bass" to "treble." Sounds like the subwoofer is getting more of the sound when the master volume is low, and the all the speakers get it when the master is high. Kinda odd. If I adjust the alsamixer PCM volume manually it does what I would expect. -- Karmic: PCM volume (as seen in alsamixer) "stuck" at 100% with pulseaudio enabled https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/420578 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
