Public bug reported:
After yesterday's updates to karmic, my machine won't boot. After the
usplash screen it show some odd lines randomly across the screen and
then shows a blinking cursor. Didn't gain more information when using
verbose mode, can't seem to get at GRUB menu. I'm running Nvidia
graphics card, GRUB2, Ext4.
