Public bug reported: Binary package hint: firefox-3.0 Frequent crashes on just going to a page to watch a video ... browser closes. When I reopen firefox to the same page the video always works. [Bug 235788] [NEW] Todays update on prerelease 8.04 deleted firefox 3 Beta
Public bug reported: Todays Ubuntu Update Deleted Firefox 3 Beta. Originally had Pre Release 8.04 Version. Have been doing all updates. Todays Update asked to remove obsolete Programs that may have been installed in a pre release version. I answered yes and after update Firefox 3 was gone. Also the "Report a bug" menu Item didn't work. Firefox 3 was gone from menu. The bug was fixed with the released version of Firefox. It only happened before the uptodate version in June of 2008 I believe. Thanks, The ISO was the Problem. When I Installed the Nvidia Driver for my cheap Geforce 6200 video card I was Amazed!
