[Bug 262758] Re: [Intrepid] Rendering errors on GM965 (Intel X3100)
I can confirm this. I have the same problem with Intel 965GM(X3100). Performance is degraded compared to hardy and there are missing textures(celestia looks just like on Roberto's screenshot). Performance was even worse and I was getting "Failed to initialize TTM buffer manager. Falling back to classic." message when running OpenGL applications till now but the last update improved things a little. ** Attachment added: "lspcivv" http://launchpadlibrarian.net/17561701/lspcivv -- [Intrepid] Rendering errors on GM965 (Intel X3100) https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/262758 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

[Bug 248379] [NEW] can't set monitor model in displayconfig-gtk
Public bug reported: Binary package hint: displayconfig-gtk Choosing a monitor model in displayconfig-gtk raises an IndexError exception. $ sudo displayconfig-gtk The monitor is recognised as Plug'n'Play Monitor. If I choose any other model from the list the monitor model doesn't change(it stays Plug'Play monitor) and I get this output in the terminal: [] Traceback (most recent call last): File "/usr/lib/python2.5/site-packages/displayconfiggtk/DisplayConfig.py", line 692, in on_configure_device_clicked device.setMonitorAspect(ModeLine.ASPECT_4_3) File "/var/lib/python-support/python2.5/displayconfigabstraction.py", line 1810, in setMonitorAspect self._resyncResolution() File "/var/lib/python-support/python2.5/displayconfigabstraction.py", line 1817, in _resyncResolution (preferred_width,preferred_height) = self.getAvailableResolutions()[-1] IndexError: list index out of range I reinstalled the package displayconfig-gtk but that did't change anything at all. I noticed however that synaptic reported version 0.3.10 while "displayconfig-gtk --version " reported 0.3.2(which is maybe another bug :) ) $ apt-cache policy displayconfig-gtk displayconfig-gtk: Installed: 0.3.10 Candidate: 0.3.10 Version table: *** 0.3.10 0 500 http://archive.ubuntu.com hardy/main Packages 100 /var/lib/dpkg/status $ displayconfig-gtk --version 0.3.2 My version of ubuntu is: Description:Ubuntu 8.04.1 Release:8.04 I attach my xorg.conf if it is to be of any help ** Affects: displayconfig-gtk (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- can't set monitor model in displayconfig-gtk https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/248379 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
