[Bug 1490347] Re: [Regression] 16:04 + 15:10 - Cannot pair with devices using (legacy LMP Link Management Protocol) PIN codes

2016-12-11 Thread space s
hi! I'm on 16.10 and I can't connect my macbook to my ubuntu desktop. I
have a non-apple keyboard and non-apple mouse, they connect fine. When I
want to pair to my macbook both computers display the correct numbers,
clicking "yes" tho says it failed to connect. It was the same with 16.04
during the summer. Just recently upgraded to 16.10 but the problem
persists. Ty for looking into it.

[Bug 1354164] Re: No way to show power indicator for wireless mice/keyboards on desktop machines without battery

2016-12-13 Thread space s
hmm, fix released when? I'm using 16.10 and I have the same problem. I use a
desktop computer (no battery), I have a normal USB dongle (lsusb says:
Cambridge Silicon Radio, Ltd Bluetooth Dongle) with a wireless keyboard. Plus I
have a logitech mouse with its own dongle (Logitech, Inc. Unifying Receiver).
Both devices work perfectly. System settings/power management only shows
keyboard, not the mouse. But I can't make it display on the menubar. It's set
to present.
Otherwise I have 2 USB cord mice, 1 PS2 keyboard, 1 pen tablet, 1 USB d-pad
controller, 1 USB to phone, 1 USB HP printer on this computer. All works
perfectly.
