The system has very severe remote interference and do not have a stable status. [Bug 818760] Re: update-manager crashed with timeout in readline(): timed out
It is a very severe problem when we accept udates thruogh any packages using an unseccure internet connection. Through update manager faulty net connections give us faulty information about available updates. Some times they pump in large quadities of updates from other sources which may reject by official autherisation. While taking updates with Terminal using such 'free for all internet connection' it interupt downlading saying ."something wicked happen. there is no address associate with host name"or error 404 IP adress... etc, and towards end of updating, the connection reset, users automatically pulled back to the satage of pre update. Many a security updates are blocked to users by this way, result in more bugs. Open internet connections are problem to all linux users .It is suspected a lobby working behind such free internet service their motivation is simply anti OPEN SYSTEMS. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/818760 Title: update-manager crashed with timeout in readline(): timed out To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/update-manager/+bug/818760/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

[Bug 1090910] [NEW] freqent time out error while log in to ubuntu official sites
Public bug reported: this has been a error that was subjecting to me whenever i come to sign in to ubuntu offical sites or launch pad for several years. The time out play 'bug 'is very much interesting. Whenever i approach ubuntu sites in connection with suspected bug events or error ,i am being trapped by this 'time out trickery', until i go back defeated. Also if I freqently visit launchpad translation site, the the next time i will be trapped with time out settings. Also my system will get into trouble or face abnormality. Now i am being put in to a fire test. I cannot install program to my hard disk. Some program is blocking the procedure when i reach 65% nearing completion of installation. I am using a 9.11 usb installer for setup. there is error reporting about my Hard disk for the past one year or more, but i never consider this fact, proceed with testing. This time i am coming here from such a desktop , The program could not be installed even after several attempts. Being a casual user and experimentalist and lover of Ubuntu , I come forward to report bug :inform when it is being auto generated in my system while using your programs.. What i am learned in short is whenever one use any Linux version in a computer pre installed with 'Windows' especially 'Vista' ,there seem to have hidden program live in memory as well in the Hard disk ,preventing normal functionality. It usually attack network first and installation next. Also new comers coming to get help from Linux official pages , are being redirected to dupe site of same address. And such sights if checked with mouse movements they will not have very certificates of an authority. Further this type wicked plays are put on only new comers and non tech users. Recently i participated with a few translations in Launch pad ,the next day , my network showed very severe abnormalities that i was being diverted from official ubuntu sites ;and my default key baord behaviour malfunctioned ,my id become non acceptable even it is written 100% CORRECTLY. The trickery starts as soon as I log in to web, some jawa program changes default settings and take me to forged web sites.TELL beginners do not trust the add ons.many an enemy jawa programs attack the net process when these add ons are accepted. Also there are many sites similar to Ubuntu and there have advises for new users to solve their problems, with false advises, to use with terminal.Terminal is also place of intervention of the 'SO CALLED' bugs.Duplicate Terminal appear in place of default. and I think it also give advise to use 'sudo' command at unwanted instances . If a user get in to such net trap sites they will automatically hate Linux. According to me in three places somebody is creating some trouble for Linux (i) Hard disk programs ,need thorough search of any hidden program before install with Linux,(ii) networks needs to be replaced immediately after first installation of any linux distro, there need thorough scrutiny on side, and while data transmission that at any point... it is delayed or... redirected with faulty repositories or content. A 3rd place is Terminal . shaju. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1101696 Title: Just diagnosing with program a trial run To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/ubiquity/+bug/1101696/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
[Bug 882255] Re: No administrative actions possible (password refused) after enabling passwordless login
I am affected with Password problem . I have been using a strong passwd. a few days back it began. While log in i have to enter password for a second time. at first time the log in window refuse permission. But when entering the password for a second time , allows log in. I am using a laptop and my key board marking are not visible , is using a key board through usb. Today I was totally refused login while booting. So I rebooted system and change my password through recovery , and when came back for login to desktop, the new password which was by -heart to me was rejected. So i have to went back repeat pwd change process. Then used the new pwd to log in . the next thing i did was to log into users and group session and taken option for to log in with out a password. when rebooted and attempted login , the log in window appeared and refused entry without password. When i gave my password , allowed log in. A window option for kerying also is asking similar repeated incident for password even the correct password is entered. After a few repetition with the same pass word , it allows acceptance of the same password. something wicked is playing. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/882255 Title: No administrative actions possible (password refused) after enabling passwordless login To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/gnome-control-center/+bug/882255/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
