[Bug 1581088] Re: Middle mouse (wheel-click) button stopped working after upgrade to 16.04
This is also happening to me. The wheel middle button of my Logitech B110 stopped working a week ago or so (not the wheel/scroll). I think it was after some packages upgrade, but I am not completely sure. I upgraded to the latest stable kernel right now and the issue is still here. These are the kernel versions I had a minute ago and now: - Linux trovit 4.6.0-040600-generic #201606100558 SMP Fri Jun 10 10:01:15 UTC 2016 x86_64 x86_64 x86_64 GNU/Linux - Linux trovit 4.9.0-040900-generic #201612111631 SMP Sun Dec 11 21:33:00 UTC 2016 x86_64 x86_64 x86_64 GNU/Linux Also I ran xev to see the middle button click (wheel) is not recognized. Some help or workaround would be really apreciated, I can't survive without the paste feature the middle button provides :-) Thank you in advance. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1581088 Title: Middle mouse (wheel-click) button stopped working after upgrade to 16.04 To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux/+bug/1581088/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
[Bug 1565552] Re: Amarok unable to start in 16.04 beta
Hi. I had exactly the same error message: KDEInit could not launch 'amarok': Could not open library '/usr/lib/x86_64-linux-gnu/libkdeinit5_amarok'. Cannot load library /usr/lib/x86_64-linux-gnu/libkdeinit5_amarok: (/usr/lib/x86_64-linux-gnu/libkdeinit5_amarok.so: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory) And Amarok is not installed right now as well. So when I try to install it I get: $ sudo apt install amarok Reading package lists... Done Building dependency tree Reading state information... Done Some packages could not be installed. This may mean that you have requested an impossible situation or if you are using the unstable distribution that some required packages have not yet been created or been moved out of Incoming. The following information may help to resolve the situation: The following packages have unmet dependencies. amarok : Depends: libqca2v5 (>= 2.0.2) but it is not installable E: Unable to correct problems, you have held broken packages. I then tried: $ sudo apt install amarok libqca2v5 Reading package lists... Done Building dependency tree Reading state information... Done Package libqca2v5 is not available, but is referred to by another package. This may mean that the package is missing, has been obsoleted, or is only available from another source However the following packages replace it: libqca2:i386 libqca2 E: Package 'libqca2v5' has no installation candidate $ dpkg --get-selections | grep libqca2 libqca2:amd64 install libqca2-plugin-ossl:amd64 install libqca2-plugins:amd64 install libqca2v5:amd64 deinstall I then tried to purge libqca2 (which uninstalls an amount of related dependencies) and try to install amarok again with the same problem (so I reinstalled the removed packages to the same initial status). It seems that libqca2v5 is not installable and libqca2 is already installed and replaces it, but amarok depends on the other. I also tried the Valorie Zimmerman suggestion (purge amarok*) without success. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Kubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Kubuntu PPA. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1565552 Title: Amarok unable to start in 16.04 beta To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/kubuntu-ppa/+bug/1565552/+subscriptions -- kubuntu-bugs mailing list kubuntu-b...@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/kubuntu-bugs

[Bug 1153661] Re: The disk drive for /dev/mapper/cryptswap1 is not ready yet or not present
I can confirm that #16 worked for me. I had the UUID in /etc/crypttab and the swap was not mounted on startup, but after replacing the UUID by /dev/sdXX swap is being mounted :) I also want to confirm that the UUID for the swap partition is new every time, so I have a question: why the file /etc/initramfs-tools/conf.d/resume stores a nonexistent UUID value? What it is used for? May be it is for unencrypted swap with a persistent UUID? cat /etc/initramfs-tools/conf.d/resume RESUME=UUID=add26f99-1c00-43a1-bae5-f184754d242b By the way, thank you Sm17H for the explanation! -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1153661 Title: The disk drive for /dev/mapper/cryptswap1 is not ready yet or not present To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/cryptsetup/+bug/1153661/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
[Bug 720982] Re: kopete skype plugin crashes on chat window close
This happens to me too, not only with skype chat windows but any chat window type. When I close the last tab on a window chat (i.e. the whole window) with Kopete window minimized on the tray icon, the window is closed by I can't restore kopete window just clicking on the tray icon. As Bernie says I have to open it from the applications menu or with shorcut (ctrl + shift + s) and then quit due to its weird state.
