[Bug 1832960] Re: Computer does not return from lock normally

2019-06-16 Thread micsu
There are several workarounds:
1) change light-locker to another locker, eg
- XScreenSaver
- xfce4-screensaver
- physlock
- Slock
more details: https://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=846278

2) keep light-locker but change the greeter to another greeter, eg
- slick-greeter
more details:

[Bug 1434525] Re: Router solicitation blocked, makes network-manager complain

2015-08-08 Thread micsu
Could you help me how to solve this issue, plese?
I'm using Debian 8.1 stable and ipv6 support is disabled either in
a) /etc/default/ufw
IPV6=no
b) /etc/sysctl.conf
net.ipv6.conf.all.disable_ipv6 = 1
net.ipv6.conf.default.disable_ipv6 = 1
net.ipv6.conf.lo.disable_ipv6 = 1
net.ipv6.conf.eth0.disable_ipv6 = 1

Therefore I can not apply this:

http://askubuntu.com/questions/596278/what-is-network-manager-trying-to-do-with-rdisc
sudo ufw allow to ff02::2
it says: "ERROR: IPv6 support not enabled"

Is the only one solution to compile ufw using patch in #2?
Thanks!

[Bug 1438003] Re: (1) Creating object for path '/org/freedesktop/NetworkManager/ActiveConnection/0' failed in libnm-glib.

2015-09-03 Thread micsu
Same error for me, when trying to connect to a new DSL connection.
The workaround mentioned in #8 does not work for me. :(
Debian 8.1 Stable
network-manager version 0.9.10.0

[Bug 318325] Re: [X1100] flickering after resume from ram

2015-06-20 Thread micsu
I have the same problem with xUbuntu 14.04 (Trusty Tahr)
I guess it will never be fixed, so we have to install windows xp instead :(

Laptop: Acer Aspire 3104 (AMD Sempron 3500+)
GPU: ATI Radeon Xpress 1100
System : xUbuntu 14.04 32 bit (Trusty Tahr)

There is one workaround, but it requires nomodeset (and the quirks suggested by
Chris at #65).
Using nomodeset is not a good idea, since it prevents all graphics
accelerations.

[Bug 363822] Re: battery design capacity is reported incorrecly

2014-11-28 Thread micsu
I have the same problem on a HP Compaq NX6110:
the "design capacity" decreases every time, when I discharge the battery
totally.
But it never increases, so the actual value is 90mAh!
I have no idea what the solution could be for us, but there is a solution for
an MSI laptop:
