Re: [Bug 244639] Re: package is not installable in hardy
tx Mike :) i reported this bug because in the lxde ppa page there is a list box that allows to choose between three apt sources.list entries, and hardy is one of the possible choice. so the lxde ppa page suggests that there is a repository not only for intrepid and hardy, but also for gutsy. i was wrongly supposing that the lxde ppa repository manteiners were the ones also directly responsible for all the ubuntu lxde packages i will try to submit this bug directly to the lxde ppa team. many thanks anyway. ps sorry for my english ;-) -- package is not installable in hardy https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/244639 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

[Bug 37227] Re: unnamed imap folder
I just tried the following: - Deleting the empty unnamed folder (said it couldn't do it) - Renaming the empty unnamed folder (again it wouldn't) I then tried moving the unnamed folder from the IMAP server to my computer. When I did this, Evolution deleted all the emails in my Inbox. This is totally unacceptable. I realise that small bugs do occur in software, but this is a serious bug which causes data loss and which still hasn't been fixed, despite being reported over 2 years ago. Furthermore, I am very annoyed that Evolution deleted all my e-mails. I am therefore uninstalling Evolution and will not be reinstalling it until this bug is fixed, because at the moment it is a liability. I cannot use an e-mail client if it risks deleting all my e-mails. Re: [Bug 329645] Re: Cannot suspend a and wake up correctly
hi, thanks for your answer! I don't know how to solve this problem. I can't handle the command line. I've searched the web for solutions, but it seems that with my type of notebook (hp nc4010) everyone got the same problem. No hibernate, neither standby. At the end when I need battery hours I still have to use windows xp. cheers, max On Tue, Jun 2, 2009 at 10:14 PM, René Kliment wrote: > Anything I could do? > > ** Changed in: linux (Ubuntu) > Status: Incomplete => New > > -- > Cannot suspend a and wake up correctly > https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/329645 > You received this bug notification because you are a direct subscriber > of the bug. > > Status in “linux” source package in Ubuntu: New > > Bug description: > If I try to suspend my system(to RAM), it seems, that it is suspended > correctly(according to behavior in "Windows(R) beta 7" after suspend - > blinking LEDs, etc). [Bug 329082] Re: Group by threads for Forwaded mails
Hi Sebastien, Sorry for my previous post. I think this just wasn't implemented feature in evolution. It is not critical but it will improve appearance of evolution. How to reproduce it: 1. In Evolution menu View check box "Group by Threads" 2. Change folder for store sent messages. Go to menu Edit>Preferences>mail Accounts. Choose here your mail account and press Edit. In Account Editor go to tab "Defaults". Change "Sent messages folder" to folder which you use for receiving messages from this account (I don't know which you use but usually it is "Inbox"). 3. Choose any recent message and Reply on this message. 4. Choose same message and Forward this message. What will you have: for reply message it will be group with original message correctly but forwarded message will be in new thread. Thank you for reply. I will try to attach screenshot. But look like ubuntu jaunty have new bug and screenshots doesn't work. I'm trying to run a 3rd party, closed source application on my Ubuntu Tomcat install.
