[Bug 305070] Re: "The panel encountered a problem while loading "OAFIID: GNOME_MultiLoadApplet"

2008-12-06 Thread luk1don
Is this only my problem? I don't think so. It had been a problem in debian
systems (and it is!), look at links, please:
https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+bug/164804
https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/gnome-panel/+bug/175093
http://ubuntu-virginia.ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=833209

http://fedoraforum.org/forum/showthread.php?t=183686
http://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=195625#30
http://lists.debian.org/debian-gtk-gnome/2003/06/msg00067.html
http://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=336760
http://bugs.gentoo.org/21297

Is this reproducible?
Yes, this is. This repeats on another accounts in my system, reinstallation
doesn't help, I don't know when it repeats...

What specific steps?
I've done many many steps to fully eliminate this bug, nobody knows what is the
accurate solution...
and I probably fix this bug in my system but I don't know when it eventually
returns

[Bug 305070] [NEW] "The panel encountered a problem while loading "OAFIID: GNOME_MultiLoadApplet"

2008-12-04 Thread luk1don
Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: gnome-applets

Starting gnome-panel displays the following questions:

"The panel encountered a problem while loading "OAFIID:GNOME_MultiLoadApplet"
"The panel encountered a problem while loading "OAFIID:GNOME_InhibitApplet"
"The panel encountered a problem while loading
"OAFIID:GNOME_FastUserSwitchApplet"

Do you want to delete the applet from your configuration?

I've been reinstalled gnome-applets and gnome-applets-data and purged configs
but it doesn't help!
It is probably bug of libgtop2 packages but I don't know...
Where will I find fixed packages?

The problem is linux-restricted-modules-generic 2.6.28.12.16 package, that is

[Bug 341989] [NEW] [Jaunty] Error/Message appearing at boot - IO APIC resources could be not be allocated.

2009-03-12 Thread luk1don
Public bug reported:

After Jaunty updates (kernel), this message appears at boot:

IO APIC resources could be not be allocated.

This is due to the message being printed with KERN_ERR instead of
KERN_INFO, but is harmless.

ProblemType: Bug
Architecture: i386
DistroRelease: Ubuntu 9.04

Package: linux-image-2.6.28-8-generic 2.6.28-8.28

The dmesg text doesn't show the error in older kernel and that shows
when I boot with the newer (this) kernel.

I have everything ok. with APIC and first see this error/message.

Here is my dmesg.

vga=794, vga=791, vga=798, ... or some changes in grub configuration.

echo "xserver-xorg-core hold" | sudo dpkg --set-selections
