[Bug 398678] Re: Can't start Do after latest upgrade of Mono packages
@Robert thanks, that solved it. It's strange though, because some update to mono that came down from Ubuntu must've uninstalled the posix2.0-cil package. [Bug 575273] [NEW] grid plugin is gone
Public bug reported: Binary package hint: compiz I've looked all over the webs and could not find a resource on why the Grid plugin is absent from compiz-plugins. I also went to the Grid plugin dev page (http://wiki.compiz.org/Plugins/Grid) with no luck, and the developer's blog is seriously dated (http://suasol.wordpress.com/2009/05/01/grid-now-part-of-official- compiz-distribution/) I looked in the mailing list and spent a bit of time on Launchpad, but couldn't find anything. Public bug reported: I bought one of these (http://www.vantecusa.com/en/product/view_detail/407) a while back and it randomly disconnects. My setup is a 2TB hard drive sitting in a Vantec NexStar dual bay dock, connected over USB 3.0 to the ExpressCard. I start up my laptop and power on the bay, and the disk is recognized. I can browse around, transfer files, etc. Things are normal. After some time, the drive will unmount. Power-cycling the bay does not help. Only restarting my computer will help, but the drive is not guaranteed to stay mounted for any usable length of time. I'm not sure what commands to run, but I'll run whatever needed to get more info. [Bug 901450] Re: Vantec ExpressCard/34 PCMCIA to USB 3.0 card randomly unmounts
Makes me a little nervous to install an upstream kernel. This is my only laptop & I can't really have any downtime. [Bug 868904] Re: Redshift fails to start with session due to geoclue failure
@ksthiele nice, I was doing that too, but I didn't want to always find my lat/long. [Bug 806564] [NEW] Added files keep going missing
Public bug reported: I have over 5000 songs in my library (/home/jesse/mp3s is a symlink to /media/FreeAgent/mp3s) and when I open rhythmbox it only displays 808 in my "Music" and the rest it considers "Missing". I always make sure the external drive is fully mounted & that the symlink is active before opening rhythmbox, but it doesn't seem to help. Each morning I have to re-add the ~4200 songs. [Bug 806564] Re: Added files keep going missing
808 files recognized, 8608 files regarded as "Missing" I started importing from ~/mp3s just in case something could be gleaned & that filled up most of the log. Ctrl + c so the log wasn't huge. ** Attachment added: "rhythmbox-debug.txt.bz2" https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/rhythmbox/+bug/806564/+attachment/2194365/+files/rhythmbox-debug.txt.bz2 -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/806564 Title: Added files keep going missing To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/rhythmbox/+bug/806564/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

[Bug 1852649] [NEW] Segfaults when connecting to Thunderbolt dock/external monitir
Public bug reported: 1) 19.10 2) 3.34.0-1ubuntu1 3) No segfault, not signed out 4) I suspended last night, closed lid, then this morning I tried something different: plugged in first, opened laptop which woke it up, external display turned on, then shortly I got signed out or it locked up (had to `ctrl+alt+del`, forgot which happened this time around, pretty sure signed out then locked up) ** Affects: gnome-flashback (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New ** Attachment added: "journalctl --since today" https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1852649/+attachment/5305473/+files/journal.log -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1852649 Title: Segfaults when connecting to Thunderbolt dock/external monitir To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/gnome-flashback/+bug/1852649/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

[Bug 1852649] Re: Segfaults when connecting to Thunderbolt dock/external monitir
Here are the steps I took to recreate the issue. This time though, my system did not fully crash (no ctrl+alt+del necessary) * opened lid * unplugged from dock * shut down * powered on * unlocked disk * signed in * plugged into dock * external display turned on, became primary * moved mouse ** got signed out after 30s or so ** * both laptop and external display were active, laptop as primary * signed in again * dumped journal * closed lid * external became primary ** Attachment added: "journal.log" https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/gnome-flashback/+bug/1852649/+attachment/5305474/+files/journal.log -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1852649 Title: Segfaults when connecting to Thunderbolt dock/external monitir To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/gnome-flashback/+bug/1852649/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
